New startup course to boost innovation in Southland’s Food + Fibre sector.
A new programme to support and boost Southland’s Food + Fibre startups will run from 9 April to 25 June 2021.
Prove It: Food + Fibre will offer emerging businesses from all over Southland a chance to validate, make sales and prove their startup idea has legs, as well as gain insights from top Kiwi startups taking on the world.
The course has been developed by COIN South in collaboration with their strategic partners and local food champions including the Southern Pioneers Food Hub and the Invercargill Licensing Trust.
Participants get to share lunch and insights with the founders of much loved food businesses across the country, including Fix & Fogg, as well as local legends and mentors in marketing, finance and legal.
“Our region is perfect for producing, harvesting, and farming some of the best food in the country,” Chief Activator, Louise Evans says. “At COIN we’ve seen a swell of producers adding value to their products in innovative ways. We want to ensure these startups kickstart their ideas in the very best way possible.”
Applications are now open. For details head to our Prove It programme page.
